Personal Reflection on Topic of Inquiry(posted January 27 -- Peer Response January 29) I'm not really sure what I'm supposed to be writing here or how long you wanted it to be but... alright. My topic of inquiry is going to be marijuana prohibition, and why it needs to end. This is a topic that I have always cared deeply about, but that hasn't really had a huge effect on me personally until very recently. I am not going to go into further detail about that at present, however, I care more about how it affects the entire world, not just me, anyways. The unjust prohibition of marijuana really screws a lot of people over, such as people who need it for medical reasons. However, I don't think it should only be legal for medical uses. Marijuana is much much MUCH safer and healthier than both alcohol and tobacco, which are both legally sold to people of age to buy them in the United States. Why can't we put a buying age on marijuana and tax the hell out of it? This would go a long way towards fixing our economic problems...
